Death, especially violent death, will turn the meanest bastard in the world into a nice guy. Why is that?

About This Quote

When we think of mean people, we tend to imagine them as violent and cruel. That’s because we’ve been taught that some people will always be mean and cruel. But how do we know whether a person is nice or mean? We only know the person in relation to the rest of the universe. When you look at some random person, what do you see? Maybe a nice guy who helps others out on the bus, maybe a jerk who wears his pants too tightly.

The random guy is just one tiny part of total universe. When you die, you are that same tiny part again. And when you die you go back into that same tiny part of universe.

So if total universe is a kind and generous place, then your death should make you nicer, not meaner.
